Inca Gloucester
Alpaca Quadrifoglio located in Northern Italy near Milan, have recently taken possession of our working black huacaya stud male, Inca Gloucester. Pasquale from Alpaca Quadrifoglio came to see us here at Inca Alpaca back in the spring. His requirements for a new herd sire were the following:
1. Pedigree. The male needed to have a pedigree that was uniform in phenotype, have a great number of highly performing bloodlines and have as much black colour as possible.
2. The look of the male was important. Pasquale was looking for high fibre coverage and substance of bone. The male also needed to have great presence.
3. The fleece needed to have a high and even level of positive characteristics such as fineness, density, length and brightness.
4. Temperament was also important as ease of handling is essential for mobile mating and they wished the resulting progeny to be even tempered as well.
