The time had come for us to purchase a new van as the Renault Master was not quite big enough. The Renault Master was such a good van as it was fast, comfortable and fuel efficient. This time, however, we decided to go for a Mercedes Sprinter super long as we wanted a little more room in the back. So after a weekend of preparation and getting the new van ready Tim set off early to carry out some stud services and deliver a young herd sire. It was loaded with some of our stud males – Jack, Flagship and Thunder as well as a special male destined for J and J Alpacas in Nottinghamshire.
J and J Alpacas had been following Inca Greshingham’s progress through the show circuit in the last year and when they finally saw him in the flesh at the Heart of England Alpaca Fiesta they decided that he had the characteristics they required in their black breeding programme. The advantage of Inca Greshingham is that both his sire and dam have a great phenotype, champion show results and have bred uniform cria in the past.
We would like to thank Clare and Martin at J and J Alpacas for having the faith in our male to progress their herd. We wish them well with Inca Greshingham and hope that he can add value and increased productivity into their herd of black alpacas.
