Today we had the great pleasure of delivering Inca Legacy to Eileen and Alan Ferguson at Old Felton Alpacas.

Eileen and Alan with their new black herd sire Inca Legacy and breeder Tim Hey.

Bred from one our trusted black dam lines, Inca Legacy brings together proven genetics and expresses them with some style. His sire is Surtierra Shadow who is proving to bring fineness, density, staple length and blackness to his progeny. His dam, Inca Heritage is a multiple show winner and essential breeding female in our core herd. She offers high density, uniformity of micron and fineness to her crias. Inca Legacy has a very advanced and highly productive fleece that is at the forefront of our breeding programme.

Eileen and Alan explained that they were looking for a male that was unrelated to female progeny from Lillyfield Jack of Spades of Inca and daughters from the other black sires in the north of England. Inca Legacy not only fulfills the genealogy component, but brings cutting edge quality to breeders of coloured alpacas.
